The Calvert 9 way adjustable shocks are Rancho's with Calvert stickers on them. Yep Tex

Below is the difference between SS 3400 lbs. springs and Cal-Tracs with split mono's.
Both worked, up to a point, but two completely different pre-loads on the torsion bars and all twisted up with SS springs.
What rear shocks are you running?

It should lift/separate. See pic...won a bracket class the day this pic was taken dialing 9.60s and 60 footing 1.32-1.34.

What rear shocks are you running? Monroe long truck or station wagon shocks on the SS springs. Calvert 9 way on the Cal-Trac setup. You have to firm up extension with the Calverts or it hits too hard and unloads.
'63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

I wonder how much the roll bar helped with the twist. Not sure, but don't think it was much. It has subframe connectors in both shots. Took a TON of preload out of the drivers side front bar as I recall to get it level after the spring swap.

To the Op, does it always come out of the burn out with the rear hanging out to the left? If it does it in different lanes at different tracks you could put a turn in the drivers torsion bar. Without scales it is an indication the rear weights are unequal under load. I have found a little adjustment will go a long way. I would also check to see if the front shocks are topping out. It looks like the nose either tops out sharply or the tire spins and drops the nose quickly. Shock tuning. Also I know guy who runs an AFX car who said the best suspension mod he ever did was a BIG aftermarket rear sway bar.

Think there is a little camber in the track on that lane in the burnout area, my race car use to always swing sideways a little. I have the rear shocks coming so I will try them first a see how she goes.

Lift aids tire load, squat removes load. Once the power levels get huge, (way more than I'll ever have) the tire can get over worked. In that case the instant center will be low and long enabling squat to keep from over working the tire. Doug

Doug One sure way to find out is to try some more time and then less time in the burn out using the 60 ft. times and reactions as your judgement

Its not about duration as much as wheelspeed in the burnout. Wheelspeed creates more heat in the tire much quicker, lessening the amount of time needed in the burnout. Id guess most guys are starting slow on the loud pedal in the burnout, that's what generally will kick the car sideways, increasing the RPM juts keeps it on its original path. Watch Pro Stock, Top Sportsman, Comp guy that occasionally get sideways, they straighten it out with MORE rpm. Not saying this a 100% universal truth but is the case more often than not.
