dvw I Live Here Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 10,051 MI, usa	These are pics of my 64 Belvedere. Remember the car will have a forward rake. This will require raising the front mount to keep the bar level. Also lowering the rear ride height will require raising the ladder bar front location to maintain its current posistion. Doug Is it better to notch the subframe connectors to accept the ladder bar crossmember like that? I always thought people just buttweld the LB crossmember to the connectors. The only way that shock is twisting the 1" 3/4" tube welded only 2" away from the frame, is if this car becomes a dukes of hazard stunt double later in it's life! Mounting them directly below may just become a packaging issue. You gain about 2" of room when putting them on the side like that vs. straight down.

mopars rule mopar addict M Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 972 alabama	It is a very common way of mounting the shock tabs. The S&W racecars instructions show that you can mount them directly under or on the side, either way is fine.
