I had an HHR fan on mine, but recently switched it out. I am using a dual fan setup from a Ford Contour. Works really well. I like it a lot better than my HHR fan Have apart number or dimensions?

Here are the dimension of the HHR fan, you can take the plastic off the back of the motor and gain a little more room also.

I bought a derale for my car. Made night and day difference over cheap parts store fan that was on the car when I bought it. Spal and derale both good fans. I found the better fans that have good motors pull 20+ amps. If they aren't pulling that many amps and have good CFM ratings, run. They won't cut the mustard I agree 100%. The amps they pull indicates the strength of the motor. A weak fan can move lots of air when there is no restriction placed in front of it, but the CFM drops drastically when you put a radiator in front of it. A strong motor won't slow down as easily.

Haven't seen a direct A > B comparo of pusher vs. puller, but the puller always wins.

I use a 16 inch pusher Spal 3 speed fan with 3 of their mounting straps. Best way to go,I'm tired of making some junk fans to fit!

If you ran E-85 you can leave at that temp all of the time.. but I dont know if its in your area.. on my car with E-85 I had more of a problem keeping it up to temp

Not sure Mr P- Have to look. This is a pump gas 511. question: Is E-85 more consistent than general pump gas? Yes it is if you check it before you buy it.. when I would buy it I would test it first and if it was within my specs I would pump out 2 drums.. it was very consistent

I agree, check it. But: E85 (like all alcohol-based) is safe to run richer than would hurt power in a race gas. The range of 99% max power is significantly wider. Your high air temp gives you an advantage! People in Alaska can't get methanol to work w/o a gas primer.
