Got any pics? 10" with 295's should fit on a '70 B body, right?

I think 325/50 R15 that BFG does not make any more.

5.5 backspace? This is from Spring fling a couple years ago.

This is mine with 8.5 inch and 295/50R15 wrong offset at 4.5 inches

295/50R15 T/As on 15x8, 4.5BS on the back of my RR. Fronts are 265/50R15 on same size wheel.
8" is a bit narrow for a 295/50, and I think my car would look better with a 60 series tire.

The next size taller is the 295/65R15 and that is a little too tall. So tall (29.6") it will rub.

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

I think your blue RR looks good with those tires.

I currently have 8" Torq Thrust D's with what I think is probably 4.5" BS. 295/50R15 Firehawks. I was thinking of using these tires with some steelies (for a change of pace) and swapping the tires on the Torq Thrust to something else (BFG drag radials on the rear).

Something's just a little off about my rear wheels, and I think it is one of two things: Maybe I am used to my 60 series tires on the Cuda and these 295/50's are just a little too low profile.... OR I need to lower the rear and close the wheel well up a bit. I think that is why the blue RR looks good - because the wheel openings are lower on a RR than a Bee.

I am changing the rear springs anyway... I might have them de-arched to get the look I want.

So I'd really like to see some 10" steelies with 295/50's on them....anyone?

fronts 235/70R-15 on 15x7 wheels
rears 295/65R-15 on 15x10 wheels

But I think the rear is a little high to make this fit with this tire. That is if this is still the same tire below.

Nevermind, I just found his website and got plenty of pics....

I think that tire is pushing it I suppose. Looks super mean on his black GTX, but maybe I want a little less tire on my car. What I am trying to avoid specifically is the perception of TOO DEEP of a wheel from the outside. I like the depth of my wheels now, but I now I have some room on the back side. In other words, I don't want to be coming within hairs of rubbing the quarter...

That car sure looks good from behind though!

So 15x10 with 5.5 BS fits with out mods on a 68-70 B-body?

I put new springs on my coronet and now the 255's on cop rims look small. Was thinking of putting them up front and getting some bigger tires/rims for the back.

I was asked to contribute money to help solve the civil unrest in Egypt, but I suspect it's some sort of pyramid scheme.

For the most part I have seen them fit but I also hear some people have rubbing and needed 1/8 spacers on one side or the other. Other than tire width, I can only assume it is due to:

Tire height (not everyone likes the stink bug look) and Ma Mopars' tolerances back then.

This one rubbed with passengers and when turning but I believe it was actually a tad larger than 295/60-R15 or their own version of that size. It was with 15X10 with 5.5 inch backspace though.

What size are those on the (green?) above car with the Hoosiers? 10"/5.5 bs?

I think he said it was 315? but it was a while ago and I forgot to write it down. It was on BK's forum before the 'Change' and the forum has not been the same since then.

Actually I think there wasn't a metric size to them. So they may be bias plys

On their site they show a 275/60 (I run this on an 8" now, and know I wouldn't like it on a 10"), a 275/50, and a 295/65... so of the three, only the 295/65 sounds like it will work for me.

I've got a pair of new 295/65 in my garage that I used for test fitting on my 64 Dodge. PM if you decide you want that size, we might be able to work something out. BFG discontinued that size a year or two ago.

These are 305/50/15 on cop wheels

They replaced the 295's that were there before.

These are 29 x 12.5 Sportsmans with 8" steel wheels - 4.5" Backspace. There is about 3/4" each side clearance. I have original H/D springs and quarters are original. 70 Bees and Coronets have a lot of room. I got sick of looking at 14 x 5.5 w/26" tall skinny tires while I'm finishing it in the garage. This gave me some motivation
