I put new springs on my coronet and now the 255's on cop rims look small. Was thinking of putting them up front and getting some bigger tires/rims for the back.
I run 295-50-15s on 15x10 magnums on the rear w/ a 5" backspace and they fit perfect. On the front 15x8s with 4.5 backspace w/ 265-50-15s and yes they fit and my front ride ht. is lower than stock,D.
Please post a pic of your rear wheels if possible.

29 x 12.5 is the size listed on the sidewall of the Mickey Thompson Sportsman sidewall. They measure 29" Tall 10.750" Tread Width 12.750" Section Width when mounted on my 8" rims. I like the look of stock and I plan on having a set of Goodyear Polyglass mounted on steel wheels as well, but I think especially on a coronet the stock sizes get eaten up by that wheel opening, and anything under 28" tall looks to small. But this is only my Scott
