i run rhs/indy heads (magnum)
1110 hughes springs 0.535 lift /boosted engine.
is there a upgrade spring for better valvecontrol ? have a few years on the hughes and when replacing why not upgrade ?
google about beehives and got a lot treads about better control with same pressure or even less.

anyone with real world experience?

I would if they're available with your spring rate + installed height + coil bind.

Beehives are great if you can find one that fits your application. The beehive shape will also solve a lot of clearance issues with the rocker arms, especially on a SB engine.

Someone did a video on beehive springs. Absolutely no downside to using them. Spring frequency issues are just about nonexistent. No friction between inner and outer spring. Less weight. More clearance.

Choice of stock eliminator cars that came with single valve spring and that single spring must be maintained, as per rules. Many of the stockers are revving in excess of 6500-7500 rpms to make the power that they do.
