Alright time for an update. I had the Cuda on the back burner for a bit. I was wheeling and dealing and was able to buy parts for my Neon, and also bought another welder. Things that go BOOM and things that go ROOM as I like to call it. I grabbed a motorcycle of sorts for my 1-1/2 year old great nephew, he points at the Cuda, the 455 TA, ATV's or bike and says roooommmm roooommmm, he instintively knows how to mimick kickstarting and throttle action when allowed on one. So I am always trying to feed the beast. I have some vintage AFX slot cars and a track is on the way.
I did put an X pipe in the Cuda, and got rid of the temporary fabbed pipes to make my system mate to the TTi's (I scrapped the stainless dump idea for now at least, due to odd fitment and possible flow disturbance)
I had been playing with Neon's while the Cuda has sat. I did stumble on a real Shelby GT350 that's apparently lived near my FIL for years, I just didnt know it. So out came the Cuda...... I had a minor close call when a young lady in a Honda changed lanes on me. So I parked it again.
I am about done with my daughters car, we sold the 4dr 2002 stick and grabbed a her wrecked 1st gen 2dr Auto..... I ju$t bought the welder and a BOOM maker $o I will be making progre$$ $lowly but will be putting in the deep pan $oon and then onto the brakes/front end update

MuuMuu also showed me another fuel injection system, I'm going to do some reading on it. Lol. I did? I'm assuming you're referring to FiTech? From what I've seen it's pretty affordable and rather easy to install. I've seen 4-5 cars that autocross with it so I can't imagine it is all that bad. I got to fiddle with the hand-held controller too and it seems like a good piece. There are a couple FABO threads on the install. Maybe 1-2 people have had issues with it that FiTech is helping them to solve, but for the most part everyone else has had a painless and pleasant experience. Edit: Nevermind, I guess I did. https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbt...arb.html#UNREAD

OK time for an update. Feb 9th the injection arrived. There was overtime at work so I was happy to just let the car sit and do other things. I kind of veered off buying things that go boom.... (since it's Easter and family will be together I'll be playing today ) I am also collecting date coded parts for a 340 George is slowly messing with the Dart, he is doing the front end. I installed a reproduction glove box liner. I bought and installed just the proper tank vent I was missing. The car needed this desperately. A previous owner plugged the vents and I never fixed that. I know it held the car back at times.

Thanks. it's just the Harbor freight unit, HARBOR FREIGHT LINK it's helped me lower/reinstall transmissions in FWD's too Please excuse that the excess chain is doubled back up on the hook, it's to keep it out of the way Removing a lower control arm bushing outer shell made easy, if you run a 1-3/8 tap into the shell of the bushing after you press out the pin and remove the rubber you can press the tap and shell out just like you did the pin. Thanks to the For A bodies only member who shared this trick, and my friend George who told me.
