I picked up the soda blasted parts tonight. The only things besides the hinges and my 340's machine work I had to farm out so far...

I will be picking up an AAR deck lid for template purposes. More info on the othe OEM AAR spoiler tommorow

Tom send more pics when you can

I had him hit the hoods "cowl vents" so I wouldn't have to strip them later. I'll carefully sand the hood to ensure I can try to capture and verify the factory V21 measurements against the data I already have

Boy that soda blasting sure beats hours upon hours of sanding. We need to get some primer shot on that pretty quickly so surface rust doesn't start. I have some here at the house we can use, and no I dont mean the spray bombs. lol No more ladybug primer jobs, I promise. Looks great...money well spent.

Hey I am ready to paint. I think the roller is wide enough to do the V21 hood treatment.

today we cleaned the parts removed some light corrsion the blasting would not, and treated the metal as required in prep for primer. I left the nose at Johns since he is going to prime the under side and he just sent pics (he applied the chemical after I) I took the deck lid home since it needed more work anyway and the welder is here....

The holes that were for the previous (non AAR) spoiler were welded up and ground smooth... again Thanks John. The remaining holes that you may see match an OEM AAR deck lid. The side holes are not yet drilled

The holes in the underbrace are all now cut, the edges will be cleaned up and the metal beneath cleaned and treated.

the areas ground smooth were spoiler holes. Note the grass and fuzz on the deck lid...it was a mouse nest at one time inside the underbrace

EDIT: Progress should pick back up a little very soon since I am suppossed to get my Air Compressor back tonight. I loaned it out about 2 weeks ago.

Again thanks for the encouregment Here is a red V21 car (by the factory manual the grille should be color keyed as well since the car is red). It was a standard option on certain color `Cuda's for 72.
