Hey Josh!

Thanks so much for the pictures. That really helped to see the set up. I really appreciate your time and efforts on this.

I hear ya about being cold. We are getting down to 10 degrees tomorrow night, and here we just had 60 degrees the other day, and was finally able to start it up first time this winter. Looking forward to some warm weather and get the Bee out again.

Tom, here's a side pic....i have 1in to the front edge. The SS springs haven't settled yet...car under construction. Suspension is "loaded" in this pic.

how wide of rims are you using? m/t uses a 8.5-11 wide rim and they say the section width is only 12.9 and 11.9 tread. i ran 315's on my old dart... and i assure you that the 345/55/15's are at least 1.5 inches wider than a 315. the dart had the springs moved in to the frame rails and the 315's would rub sometimes. the 345/55/15's fit like a glove in my 69 plymouth...the 315's would look waayyy small compared to them. unless you are running them on a 12-14" rim?? is that even possible???

i dont know, the right size/ stance makes or breaks the car in my opinion, and i just want to fill the entire wheelwell, and i just don't want the same size tire on mine that will fit b body w/ stock wheelwells... does any of my rambling make any sense??



Mine are on 12 inch wheels.

I will probably have to add a longer front hanger. For wheels, 8" with 4 1/4" backspace. When you drop the tire pressure, it hooks pretty good. Good enough to have to switch to 1350 ujoints

Hi Josh!

Thanks for the pictures, again. Nice set up. I picked up a pair of M/T 29x12.5-15 for a great price. You had mentioned backspacing for those. I found a good price on 15x10 but they are 4" backspacing, I am guessing that will not be quite right?? You had mentioned 4.5 was better?? I have 69 Superbee.

that will be close might fit but it would depend on how high the car sits in the rear. I think the tire will probably stick past the moulding but I have not tried that size on a bee. just a charger.
