I'm going to be running a solid cam and would like to find out what companies have available 426 Hemi solid lifters with the EDM hole feature.

JSYK...Comp cams doesn't offer them.

all big block mopars use the same lifters , they are not hemi specific . Howard's has edm lifters , the cup is higher in the lifter so you will need a shorter pushrod is you already have a set .

I bought a set for my Hemi from Howards two years ago, no problems yet. It seems to me hydraulic pushrods are the correct length for the Howards solid lifters. Mine are custom length though.

Good to know. I still have hyd. push rods almost brand new I might re use w/them.

After I called up Howard cams, I found out about another company making them out in MI. They make their own. But 6-8 weeks L/T right now.

Kinda pricey but came with a lifetime warranty.

Hello
Im doing this very build right now. I picked up some Howards EDM lifters, to use with my Ray Barton custom Bullet cam.
Anyways
I have heard a bunch of people talk about burning push rods up, and lack of oil to the cups etc. This engine (572) uses all new stuff, the block is a new One from World with a 4.5 bore. CNC ported heads...bla, bla, bla
Seeing how these lifters make it possible for push rod oiling, due to actually being a AMC lifter... I plan to use them in this fashion. Manton Push rods will install a .030 restricter in each push rod for free, to keep oil control down, and bleeding oil to much. The valve train will oil in the normal fashion, but this to me is worth the extra trouble, and wont cost me a dime really if you already have the lifters..

I still have the set I had listed for sale last month in the classifieds. They're in a Comp box, but I'm sure they all come from the same place. PM me if interested...
