I used sealant between my block and crankscraper, gasket between crankscraper and oil pan. My windage tray was installed in the oil pan. I used Mopar RTV. Seals well and easily comes apart.

Is your crank scraper on one side only or does it cover the complete bottom end like a windage tray does? If one sided I cut up and use part of a oil pan gasket on the other side, I do silicone the scaper to the block first and then use another complete oil pan gasket over the scraper between the windage tray or oil pan depending on which oil pan I'm using

I only run a standard MP windage tray with a cheap oil pan that has dimpled at the rail over the years. I never have leaks though and I attribute it mostly to: 1. use of PermaTex Aviation Gasket Maker. Only sealant I ever use anymore, and it has proven to be the best stuff on earth to me. 2. don't overtighten the assembly.
