Don't take your parts to Modern Cylinder Head. They have had a good friends 308 heads intake manifold and rocker arms for 13 months and have nothing but excuses why they are not finished. Very poor business practices.

If Modern is so slow is there another option in the area to take heads to for work and or repair?
Thank you Kiddart

There is no other side of the story many phone calls, e mails and letters not bashing just telling the truth. These heads are for an NHRA Super Stock engine not your run of the mill bracket motor and were supposed to be done in a timely manner.

No other side of the story if you take in work and make promises then you do the work. They have done this job before they know the work involved if you have no intention of doing the job don't take money and then blow the customer off. Total lack of integrity!

I bought my heads from modern, and they were great to deal with, yes they are busy but that's usually the case with anyone who's good at what they do. Also i had damage to one of the heads when my motor let go, Bob repaired that for me and was as good as Jeff to deal with. Mick

I just talked to Bob about those heads and got the other side of the story if what he is telling me is the truth i would not do those heads either If that's the case, then Bob should call the customer and explain the situation with the heads, return the heads and his money.

Bob cnc-ported my heads and turned them around in less than two weeks. Going from what it says above these are Super Stock heads. Super Stock heads are on the edge of cheating and grey areas. NOT your typical job of throwing them on a CNC and walking away. Even the valve job takes extra special care.
