money not needed to be spent on yet.
i run it on 91, 22-38 timing, fires right up. pulls hard doesn't complain.
its a street vehicle and usually around 8 lbs. doesn't see 12 lbs till 5k+
its got a nice grind on the cam, best push-rods i could find. magnum 3/8s 9.300 long.
replaced the lifter retainers with snap rings.
nothing comes loose or has slack. works well with the valves i made and the 2 inch porting on exhaust side.

TTI440-200 headers. hardly goes past 180 in temps 210 if pushing it hard.

its a 3 speed with 4.88 rear. it doesnt see over 60mph much.
and in canada anything traveling 30mph over limit is a 10k fine. car impounded for a week. and loss of licenece.

i apparently do need a throttle/kickdown to be installed so i dont burn up the 727.
or perhaps go full manual valve body but dont feel like taking the trans out yet to cork the breather and relocate to rear.

eye candy is here and here. sadly the memory card lost the engine and transmission buildups.

This happened on a 340 swinger I built. Bolts and flex plate/converter making noise. Easy fix with a torque wrench.

A friend taught me to mark every critical bolt/nut with a paint marker after each one is torqued....Internally and externally....and (knock on wood) haven't had a problem like that since.

Pays to have smart friends! LOL.

now to get the oilpan gasket and the windage trey gasket to seal.
replace the head bolds with new arp and teflon (liquid or tape) to stop the oil leaks.
(yes oil is being pushed out up and out the threads in the exterior head bolts.)

at least i was smart and painted the block black so you cant see it.
except the puddles on the floor.

i am having issues with these stupid demon carbs and reference lines.
my timing tape may be off a smidge.
aside from that needs an exhaust, some electrical, paint and decals.
once upon a time a full manual valve.
then i am calling it quits till something breaks.

another annoyance is on the passenger valve cover breather. it always sends a drop of oil onto the exhaust.

I hate to be the nay sayer but there is no way I can think of for oil to leak between the block and outer head bolts to be blown up and around the head bolts to leak on the top side of them confused work
I can imagine and have seen valve cover gaskets leak from the bottom of the gasket onto the head bolts and every where else shruggy scope
All the late model, probably all, Mopar V8 have blind head bolts, no water or oil feeding into the thread bosses shruggy work

Mine is milled through
Same with exhaust manifold/header bolts.
You can see clear as day they are coming out of the bolts after a few hard pulls.
I didn't think it would at the time or I would have tefloned it.
I wanted to wait till I had head gasket issues to replace.

Cost of fuel is high but at least undercoating is free
