I dont believe you can shorten the runners. The setion between the runner where you would shorten it is hollow for the idle circuit maybe. Not sure about that

The one that came with some other 6.1 parts, was cut down the middle length wise. and everything you see in this photo that would be under the base plate was removed. I'll see if I can get the manifold back so I can take some photos of it.

I think the runner length on a 6.1 intake is 9 ish inches IIRC.
