I'd like to hear about specific known 440-6 cars past the rarity of the production reports. The next steps in rarity beyond those reports.

Pointless. The year and model of the six pack car is far more important in defining rarity.
The OP's question has been answered. The 71 Cuda vert and the 70 Coronet verts are single digit production--extremely rare, and each one is likely 1 of 1 anyway.

Now if you want to ask something like "What's the rarest muscle era Mopar sunroof car" or some other option then have at it.

The fact that MILLIONS of sunroof cars are on the road right now kinda ruins that option for me.

Ok, which one of those those 71 Cuda's and 70 Coronets is the rarest and most desirable optioned?

There are millions of convertibles too.

JS29 is a separate model with the fastback designation, but it's just a window plug. In 71 they offered it, but didn't even make is a separate model.

I know I was getting hung up on sunroofs, but there are other very desirable, odd, rare options like N96, painted bumper, floral top, louvers, super track pack, headlight washers, etc for 69-71 cars that make certain cars very unique.

Re-thinking this question, to me it would have to be the cheapest base price Plymouth/Dodge with NO options at all except for the 6BBL/SIX PACK engine option. No other options, zero, nada, zip, zilch, NOT even a transmission or differential choice. NOTHING BUT THE CARBURETOR/ENGINE option. Now that to me would be the rarest and it would end the one of one because of any other option(s). As for color if it just so happened to be in a very popular color (check Dave Watt's A12 color chart of registered A12's and R4 red seems to be the norm or most registered.) but it really doesn't matter. The rarest to me 6BBL/SIX PACK in the least or no optioned car IMO. Deleted items like a heater, striping, etc., would surely put it over the top.

Now that being said I'm sure there will still be argue and catfight going forward laugh2

So,.....the 1971 Sport Fury GT 6BBL with a sunroof, but no other options; complete "stripper" GT that has a 7/70 SPD, that will eventually surface will be the rarest!!!

69 Road Runner Coupe - $????? - the book I have lists the base price at $2599 and I think that's wrong.

Anyone have a better number?

A12 is listed at $462.80 - does anyone know if that includes the rear end cost?

Here is some excerpts from over on the A12 page. These are what the minimun optioned A12 RR and SB look like. The RR is cut and pasted for illustration, the SB is a real car.

An A12 RM21 with the M2 interior is the least expensive 69 six pack car built.

Wow

It appears the A12 package was the best $462.80 ever spent
