Aside from 1972, I was wondering what the rarest 6BBL/6-Pack MoPar would be? You said nothing about it being a production piece,... So, it would be Tom Hoover's personal 66 Coronet sporting an experimental FACTORY 426 HEMI 6BBL induction system for FACTORY testing...

Aside from 1972, I was wondering what the rarest 6BBL/6-Pack MoPar would be? Rare can be tough term to nail down. To some that is the most valuable. To others it's desirable and rare options combined with value. Most valuable is a 71 440-6 Cuda conv. Rare would probably be a 70 or 71 Challenger sunroof 440-6 with 4spd. I don't know of one, but I'd guess they made one. I'd imagine from there it would come down to desirable options like shaker, louvers, rubber bumpers, color, etc.... But there are 70 Charger 440-6 sunroof 4spd cars too. There seems to be more 71 Charger sunroofs than any other 70-71 car. Maybe others can chime in with an opinion on that statement. Sunroof 71 RR's and GTX are very rare too.

Probably a 70 Coronet Vert or a 71 Cuda Vert?
Or maybe the Sport Fury GT's? Forgot about SFGT's. But they are all autos. The biggest thing I can think of that would make one stand out from others is color. So Dan's old TX9 black SFGT 440-6 would probably be the cream of that crop? Are there any other options that stand out on those? Sunroof?

Trans am car with 3 fender tags, how many have you Guys ever seen? I was just thinking 440-6 cars. I'd think the rarest would be the sunroof Challenger T/A's. The one documented one is an FT6 brown and an auto. There is a reported (still only reported?) lime one. There are a number of rubber bumper louver 4spd AAR's.

Trans am car with 3 fender tags, how many have you Guys ever seen? Is it even possible? Challengers are really hard to get to the extra tag. I have three highly optioned Challenger R/Ts and only one is a two tag car.

There was a 440-6 Challenger sunroof advertised for sale near Carpenteria CA 5 or so years ago. Thought it was sublime? Don't know trans.

I know he's counting the "Trans Am" tag as #3, but it's very hard to get a Challenger to the second tag. There used to be a F8 green Sunroof TA in Vallejo. I missed out on that one. I do know where a B3 U code sunroof Challenger is here in Sacramento. I don't remember a V code sunroof Challenger and Carpenteria is a dangerous place to have a car rust wise. I do remember this car, but it's a HEMI ![grin grin](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/grin.gif)

I'll go with that one......but if were going with a vinyl roof one off option then sunroofs, color and other options will have to also come into play as for rarity. Verts already have one up on the 6BBL/6-Pack as there are fewer convertible models ordered each model year or model line. MikeR

MikeR When you are dealing with cars that have production figures less than 200 with the number of options and paint choices I think it's less like that two cars got built the same.

I do remember this car, but it's a HEMI I think that is the green T/A Sean Machado once saw. Same area. Was it an auto? My 71 Challenger R/T is 2 tags. It's not particularly rare or anything. Not really loaded with options. Just all the molding options. And those can fill a tag quick.

I don't know of one - are there any known 3-tag "TRANS AM" cars? if "WE" go by just 3x2bbl intake, transmission & exterior paint combinations there are going to be dozens of KNOWN "1 of 1s" ![realcrazy realcrazy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/realcrazy.gif)
