Hopefully it will go at least 9.84 so you will become motivated to get the pearl going again.

No changes other than a new set of 29.5x105.W's and I took the throttle stop out from under the carb.
1.42 6.32@109 9.95@134.67
This is at 3380#, through the mufflers.

Very impressive build! I too am thinking of switching from the 496 to gen III platform. I do have a question on your cam that is installed at 5 degrees advanced @103, how did you arrive at that installed setting and what was the reason? More power down in the lower rpm? I see you race at different tracks, which one is your favorite? I'm on Whidbey Island and was looking for a closer track than Pacific Raceways! Matt Thank you. On the cam, it was designed so that I wouldn't have to buzz the motor to the moon to make power. The cam is ground on a 108, and was supposed to be installed at 104. Using the stock 6.1 Timing set there is no adjustment, it landed at 103 and we checked P to V and all was good so we left it. On the dyno, it was still gaining at 7500, so I don't think running it advanced has hurt power output at high RPM. The Car made another 21 passes this weekend. Since I race so much it was important that the engine is reliable and I don't have to rev it up much. From Whidbey your best bets are Pacific, Bremerton and Mission. All are good tracks, all have their quirks. Mission is the fastest if you wait for the fall air and are willing to cross the border. Pacific is home for me because its the closest. Bremerton is a laid back, family type atmosphere, very few accomodations, but a fun place no less. My favorite northwest track is Firebird Raceway in Boise, but that's a 500 mile jaunt so I only race there 1-2 times a year.

Just sarcasm. I made another 13 runs last weekend.
North of 300 runs on it. Just change the oil.

I'm not religious about it, in the neighborhood of 50-100 runs. Whenever I have time.

Sunday morning would have technically been a new best.
6.30 to the 1/8th, 9.93 according to my run completion, but I lifted to win the round.
