Cab, I would think that it doesn't matter if it is a 5 qt, 20qt or 55 gal pan that you'd want to put as much oil in it as possible, just don't let it contact the rotating assembly. Obviously ground clearance is a concern.

That pan does have baffles in it. And they look about the same as a $240 402 pan. More baffles can be easily added and should be. I just get heartburn when people charge so much for seemingly in-expensive stuff.

It will fit in the 1967 to 1976A body cars if you slide the motor back about 1 to 1.5 inches devil scope Mine did in my 1971 Duster with Hooker two inch fenderwell headers and my 400 B block 517 C.I. stroker motor up grin
