So I have an SN93 Supercharger I am putting on a small block stroker and was wondering if anyone has messed with this charger on any small block or big block applications. Right now I am in need of brackets, and wanted to know if anyone knows of sources for the brackets? The goal is an E85, blow thru carb set up. Mainly a keep it simple motto...
I currently have the magnum bracket but it does not fit, and would rather not cut it, if I sell the kit someday.

I've had friends that used that exact blower and they seize-up a lot. Actually just about all the Paxton's had that problem.

The older SN series were known for that, they use a ball drive setup. The newer Novi series are much better, they're gear driven.

Well we (Dart451) did some trading for it. I wondered if they mounted differently, but I wasnt worried about it.
Talk to paxton and they said the Mr Norms kit from back in the day has the same mouting as the SN93. Just need to figure out who makes the bracket or fab my own.
I did check the rotational torque per my conversation with paradise wheel, and it was dead on in the middle of the spec. Maybe its not worth it.
Will do some more checking...

Thanks for posting the pics. I remembered the pic of the big block. Right now thats what I am leaning towards. What did you do for the tensioner?
Those were the brackets I originally called paxton about, but no luck. They wont work. Thanks folks...

So how much power is a old school Mr Norms blower capable of supporting?- I'm under the understanding that none of the SN series 89,92,93 really put out all that much cfm -even with the upgraded impeller. Can anybody elaborate on how it would work on my 416 with W2's, Victor intake, tti step headers. Is this combo starting off with too much airflow to make this old blower effective?
Good heads sure wont hurt the out put, its still up to the compressor if it has the volume(which I dont know that unit)

You can use a modified impeller to increase the airflow. I'd call Craig at Paradise Wheels in Cali. He bought all of the Pazton stuff up. A better S/C might be the SN2000. I used it on a mild 440. Dropped about a full second off my et, picked up 10mph and didn't touch the motor.
