actually 2.5 inch pads should be for a 3 inch drum.

made me go out and measure. My mistake. I just remember the measurment not being what it said. So the 2.5 inch drum isn't really 2.5 inches deep. But the shoe is.

My 66 New Yorker uses the same rear drum as an early 80's D150 pick-up with 4.5" bolt circle. 11x2.5 shoes IIRC.

I'd measure the backing plate first. It will tell you exactly what size they are

You need to measure the backing plate depth. Instructions are posted in the pic I attached. As someone else stated there are different backing plates, each take a different width brake pad.

So, measure the plate, not the pad.

This will tell you which is the correct pad for the backing plate you have.

I took another look at your 2nd pic, that might be a 10" backing plate.

You need to measure the diameter where the pad seats. Or using the very outside diameter, then substract 1".

11" backing plates will measure 12" when measured from the very outside diameter.

Here's a 11" I just had powder coated.
