I would say its a done deal as well. Have all but heard that from people on the inside. But I think the only think left is to hear the official word from NHRA.
Is Wescott actually on property? Not like they have to pay an entry fee.

Man! I'm looking at the results on NHRA.com and this race is a MUST attend if you like fast sportsman racing and Pro Mod. Just WOW!!! I envy you Clanton. I want to try to get there next year. Yes Norwalk is a great race track but I am noticing some dips and more cracks effecting racers like Pro Mod and T/S,The Shakedown is great also in September[check it out also]Come on out and you will have a great show to watch on almost all the events.

I caught about all of yesterdays action on all Access and some of todays but I still DVR the race on Fox Sports 1. I had to laugh at their comment tonight that they had to condense Pro Stock car and Pro Stock bike because the NASCAR race ran over its allotted time. Imagine that. My Son Matt wanted me to go to Norwalk yesterday but this weeks storms left me LOTS of yard clean-up duty. I was her first time to a National event and she had a great time.

My wife and I went today. After watching a few first round redlights she looked at me and with a straight face said "the starter was pushing the button late." I was just about to explain it to her when she smiled and laughed. It became the standard comment of everyone around us when anybody redlighted after that.
It was one of the cleanest races in a long time. No wrecks today, no serious cleanups. Fewer traction problems than most races. I heard they did wad up a promod yesterday.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
