155......okay, not too bad.
I'd say knowing that.......the cam isn't "way too big", and since the speed picked up, and the fact you already have a 9.5" converter......go ahead and get it loosened up.
The cam you're running is designed so you can really play with the lash.......from .015-.030.
If you go to the track again before you get the converter done, try loosening the last to around .030(if you're not close to that already) and see if it picks up in the 60'.

If the converter is loosened too much it will lose efficiency.
With the amount of torque your motor would be making, if they loosen up that 9.5" converter so it flashes more than about 43-4500...... I think it'll just slip all the way down the track.
You should discuss it with them, but I think they'll tell you the same thing.

Andy - I briefly thought about going to a 4.56 but honestly I like the streetablitily the 4.10s afford me.
With zero tuning the new cam ran within 0.16 mph of the old cams best and that's at a difference of 2200 DA. I think it's making 20-25 more horses based on online calculators. I know these aren't exactly the gospel but it gives some direction at least. I run 4.10's and love em even w/the baby 28's on the car now w/enuff tq to shred em at will in all gears. 56's would not help hookin issues if you have em either..........just my opinion...........1.33 60 last time out foot brakin at 2500 and never went higher because I got the boot.........
