I guess MSD bought out Mallory? Wow the prices doubled! Holley bought out MSD several years back and sold Lunati to Comp Cams, the world changes a lot in some businesses Pray for the Edlbrock company to remain independent now that Vic JR has past away

With some effort, you could have a far superior fuel system at a lower cost. A Walbro 255lph pump is around $130. A quick-fuel low pressure return style regulator is under $80. Add a line to the car and you're all set. These pumps are quiet, and are OEM quality made to last 100,000 miles.
Not a typical approach, but blow-through guys do this with great success.

I love my mallory 140. Same pump since 2005. In 2012 i bought a rebuild kit for it to take to Drag Week but haven't needed it yet. Seems like prices have gone up alot on everything. I would hate to be building something from scratch right now

I had the same response typed out, but it seems like hanging a pump off the bumper is the only Moparts approved way... a 255LPH Walbro is rated at 43.5 psi, at 7 psi flow is higher and current draw is lower. My old BG pump sounded like a chainsaw was in the trunk, I can't even hear the 255. I've got mine in-tank, which is pretty easy with a fuel cell, and will just take a little creativity for a stock tank.

Back in the day I ran 2 blue pumps, the 2nd for N20 fuel only, firstly on my 340 street/strip car, and then on the race only 440 car, dead headed on both. Never had a problem in 10yrs, never had to replace any of them. Whether the quality today is as good, who knows, (should be better?). For 600hp+ a blue or black is plenty and at under $200 if your budget minded is good, the Mallory is no doubt ok but at $306.....too many out there to choose from, most you just don't need as I see it.

Another option...Aeromotive 11203 street rod pump, deadheaded, -8 line. Fed my 800+ hp hemi to run 9.50s at 140 mph at 3800 lbs w/ no trouble. Put a lot of street time on it too. I will be using one of these. I "fixed" a 1996 BG400 with Product Engineering seals, and now it leaks.

I see that Mallory fuel pumps are still available online. A look today shows 18 listings for Mallory/MSD pumps at Summit and 3 at Jegs. But, when I went to Holley's site there is no mention of Mallory even under their "Brands" section. Are the Mallory pumps still being made or is everything I'm seeing just old stock? If you look on Holleys site, MSD is not listed as one of the "Holley" brands, however the MSD Performance Group is owned by Holley. If you go to the MSD site, Mallory is listed as one of their brands, and the fuel pumps are listed there.
