Very good idea there. Gen 3 has had it since 2003, it's high time some of that technology fed back into the older stuff.

If you have any leaks you might consider the oil pan rail supports that i sell now. I had some engine builders ask me for these so I started to make them. They are common on SB Ford engines so engine builders are used to using them. http://arengineering.com/products/oil-pan-support-rails/ Thanks Andy, just ordered some from Mancini.

The only problem I had with one of them is if you are using a stock type oil pan with the dimples on the rails. Not a flat pan rail. But I use one on my Milodon pan as well. Never any problems I have used grey RTV or Valspar to fill the dimples on the oil pan making the pan rail flat for stock pan builds. It's a pain but it works.

Made these for our 512 a few years ago after torquing my new flimsy flanged cheap Milodon Road Race pan to recommended 15 pounds and severely dimpling the flange.
Prefer not to use normal prerequisite silicone sealers as next removal is a bear and cleanup can take longer than removing the pan.
These with 15 pounds torque did the job,,,no silicone, no dimpling, no leaks.
All Mopar pans deserve one. You should sell many. Nice elegant looking job.
The other photo is what I found after removing oil pan after having installed it. During installation and torquing the 2 rear oil pan nuts onto studs that I had placed in retainer holes, suddenly my torque wrench went slack.
Fearing that I had pulled threads in aluminum retainer, I pulled pan. Photo shows a perfect image in pan where rear main bearing ARP stud had caught on Milodon pan, thereby causing the torque relaxing that I had experienced.
One guess only as to where Milodon manufacturing is located.
