I'd say valvetrain or exhaust noise. If that's a rod it's still one tough mother f*****! Only idiots would keep beating on it like they were. Sounded like valve train to me too

More likely still owned by Mopar since Demons haven't been sold to the public yet. They take them out and run the crap out of them to see what's gonna break.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Valve train, rocker arm, collapsed lifter, etc. A rod bearing would have a different rhythm and would never survive those succeeding banzai runs. Great to have a warranty for a get out of jail free pass. If that one was a warranty claim and the video was out there showing what they did, no warranty will cover that.

It's the "mule" car, and most likely someone will be in trouble tomorrow morning, as Chrysler is rumored to be pissed this has leaked...

Had the normal test car emergency stop on the dash, and I can't tell for certain but it looks like a Detroit area freeway too (maybe M-59?).

That looks like I-696 to me. Doing crazy/insane speeds around other cars too.

With the walls along the road it looks like its 696 near Woodward.. the last bit of footage looks like its over on industrial drive(we use to rent a building over there for special projects

Reviewed it further, definitely M-59. In the first freeway shot you can see the exit for Mound Rd, and there are 3 lanes in each direction of travel. 696 and Mound is 4 lanes in each direction and has a much more elaborate interchange.

I don't think they were going as fast as the speedometer said. Unless the other cars on the freeway were all going 100+. Maybe they had the speedo set for KM, or maybe they had deep gears in the rear axle.
