Are you leaving in first gear ? You got it figured out enough now that it's carrying the front pretty far, One day that car is going to climb the ring gear and go on the bumper. Put an electric shifter in it and start grabbing second faster if not right away ....it will keep the front down, and you can get your power in quicker.

My trans needs to go back to rossler to use a second gear leave valve body. So for now I have an electric shifter, puts it n second as soon as I come off then brake.

....BAD A$$ STREET CAR.....

Tony I run a glide. Next move will be to tighten front end up then if need be I'll wire a button to pull a little timing and set the nose down. It works great for a few friends.

Thanks Mr. P, I'll be checking over everything I can think of then start out with some early shut down runs

Love that track up

I raced a 69 GTX every Saturday during the summer back in the 80's. Broadway Bob owned the track back then up

I sure miss living in that area sometimes.

Nice work, I see you really have that LeanBurn system figured out!

You must have finally gotten the Throttle Position Transducerar all dialed in.

Glad to see it didn't get banged up. I'd imagine the track is still on the cold side out there...possible a little seepy too?

The water table hasn't been a problem for a few years. Track was a little cold but I race this car in no preps and stuff. I certainly didn't think it was going to hold the 60' it did though!

In you experience is non prepped road (i.e. Hwy 20) sometimes better than a cold unprepped track? Or is the track more forgiving at all times due to the small tire? Just thinking out loud as I ponder the awesomeness of the package you have going.

Lots of variables but yes a non prep track can be worse than a virgin concrete road. I can dumb the car down enough to get down both but it's definitely not easy!

GLD has done a ton of work in recent years and honestly I don't agree with the skating rink remark. I'm not going to tell you what I 60ft but I was impressed it did that and the track didn't feel that great till about 80-100ft out (where it wanted to pick the front end again)
