I am sure they did not get paid much the first couple of seasons but I am sure they get good money the more popular the show has gotten. I read somewhere that Richard Rawlings on Gas Monkey Garage was getting $25,000 a episode.

One of the New Orleans Out Law racers told me it cost him over $15,000 to switch from Nitrous to turbo

The hat is reflecting the Latino-Black atmosphere of today. Flat brim. If the brim is curved down you're on the older white side. They're getting money, they got better trailers then most racers I know, did you happen to see the name on the valve cover of Chiefs engine last episode? From what I heard... $80,000 grand for them. Just like the duck show, a lot of jack. I bet they all have agents now. That do attract the goils, and maybe with today's society the guys too. Chiefs engine is from Butler performance.... All they do is Pontiacs.

Wow!! Last I knew he was bragging about his stock block. That's a nice engine!! "stock block" meaning it's NOT billet. it's cast.... word games, i know. and that block will except all factory pontiac pieces. try that with any of the other cars on that show.
