Based on vids Kye posted not long ago, it can't be any worse. What was that video about? Probably just another vidiot airing his dirty laundry on You Tube. That might have something to do with why the SO NOLA crew never came back for a second season, since they made him out to be such a "family man" with his new wife and daughter.

I've always been told "all ink is good ink". I'm not sure that's true. This whole gangsta drag racing thing is not something I'm a fan of and I'm not sure it presents the sport or plays well to a lot of audiences. If a decision maker at a billion dollar company, that sells something besides sneakers or energy drink, is approached by a pro or pro/sportsman team with a proposal and this has been his exposure to drag racing, he's not going to let them in the building. If I had kids, I would use it as an example of how NOT to go racing or present yourself.
Just because it's on TV, doesn't mean it's "good". Use any definition of "good" that fits. But what the hey, they're making bank and selling tickets. Maybe I'm a fudd, but I'm not impressed.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Big Chiefs lack of a sponsor for the Pro Mod is because of how he acts as a "Gangster". There would be no better exposure for a company to promote a product, then through one of the SO guys, as they have the audience.

Really you think - he does not wear that Rossler hat for free - look around there is more product placement in that show than you think - I really do not think he has any intention of running the Pro-Mod circuit when he is making a decent living running outlaw events - getting paid to show up is better than paying to show up and being an also ran! Might not be anything plastered on the side of the car, but they wear 74 different T shirts and hats throughout the course of one episode. Then there are the banners on the walls in their shop right behind them when on camera.

But wearing a hat that makes you look like a dork? Money must be good. Maybe he should wear one like Goober on Mayberry RFD

And I guess NHRA didn't give him anything either to talk about NHRA and show up at NHRA events. The gangster persona didn't bother Graham Light.

Monte was their long time friend and mentor prior to the turbo set-ups - wearing his shirt I am sure was out of respect for him - even Lutz had tremendous respect for Monte as did a lot of people. I do know Rossler is much busier since street outlaws including selling clothing - they have ramped up their production at the shop big time - a little product placement goes a long way when you have a couple of million people watching. Shanes new Vega was at rossler's shop this past fall after he had the big wreck for a pretty trick trans install - as was farm truck to pick-up a high end trans. I dont know the details of Rossler's deal but I know its done great things for an already successful business and he has hired more people at the shop providing good jobs for them.

Ever watch basketball. It's 100% ghetto. They have major sponsors. The sponsor only cares how much [censored] they sell. If you're ghetto and you can sell their junk they'll give you money.
Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

I also noticed quite of few of them started running Goodyear's on their cars as before they all had Hoosier so is that more sponsorship

I am curious, how much would it cost to build a dublicate of Goliath or Murder Nova, Boosted Mustang, Monza Camaro, Monte Carlo? What maybe $30k - $40k? You know something a guy making 90k a year working in at auto shop could afford. Right?
