Being both a drag racer and pilot and knowing about so many NIMBY raising heck over both airports and race tracks and the continuing closing of both I think the Bader family or one of its contractors representative did not do their require checking before having those light poles put in so close to the airport.
I'm assuming the airport was there first, correct?
Either way, it is a no win situation for all involved, the track, the airport, pilots and racers
