Well the bullet is in its new home but we did not get a chance to fire er up. We will button everything up and fire the motor up after I get off work tomorrow. Here is a pic. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/diego-ted/motorin.jpg) Intake blend before ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/diego-ted/HPIM2428.jpg) After ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/diego-ted/intakeport.jpg)

Well................We got the motor to fire up on petro using the primer system BUT we were having issues with the idle when switching over to the Alky. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bawling.gif) HOLLYWOOD and the big guns are coming in this morning to get it fingered out!! I shot a little video and will shoot the rest once this issue is resolved. Wish me luck, I need it!! Diego

Good luck with it...it's a learning curve, but once learned, it is pretty darn simple...please let me know if you need any help. Curtis

Thx Curtis, we most definitely need a little guidance. We go the motor running on Alky but still had a little rough idle. We pulled the Idle by pass off which helped a little, it was missing the spring. We will get a spring a see if that helps the idle any. Once you get off idle the motor is crisp. The first video is initial fire up on Petro with the primer plus system. The 2nd clip is on Alky. A BIG thanks and ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif) to HOLLYWOOD for getting it figured out!! Enjoy Diego ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/diego-ted/th_Putitaprefireup2.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/diego-ted/th_Putitapostfireup2.jpg) The whole event on U Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTgcwwD7X6c

Sounds good just be careful running it til you get the toilet dialed in. Of course sound from a video off the net through my tiny speakers can be deceiving too. Hate to have it wash the bores or something. How much alky have you gone through and how's the oil ok?

good to see you started It up,sounded like it has a couple of fouled plugs in the last video!
It needs a idle bi pass its a little rich at idle. I could have leaned it out a little with the fuel shut off. When you wack the throttle its hitting on all eight

We are running toilets on 2 cars w/ no bypasses, you gotta keep working the fuel shut off to keep it lean/ build heat and save gas, when running it on alky as soon as it fires up, pull the fuel shut-off until the rpms start coming up, even in the shut down area and return road keep it pulled and lean on the return road I usually put it in 3rd and lean it out enough to drive itself back. The only time I run mine w/ full fuel is when I'm rolling into burn out box and through to the shut down, I'll even lean it out if waiting for a bit between burnout and staging. It may seem like a lot of work, but it becomes second nature after a few hits...Now I run the primer plus so I warm it up, and drive it on Gasoline, and switch to alky when rolling into the burnout box and back to gasoline before the turn off. Have you put a leakdown gauge on the Barrel valve yet? check out the attached link, has leakdown proceedures, pretty simple; mine is set at 26% leakdown with .014 throttle blade gap. http://www.killerrons.com/why.cfmLater Curtis

Thanks for the advise we will use it. we did a leak down test, our B.V is the purple one and it calls for .010-.012 throttle blade gap and 28% to 30% leak down so this is where we started. thanks again
