May be an optical illusion.......
Seems the outer ports fit the gasket better than the inner ports?

What is the width and height of the trick Flow window?

BTW, that's an Old gasket..... I updated and modified that application years ago.

Intake ports are 2.63 x 1.34 so they are smaller than most gaskets. I guess they fit the FelPro 1218 but I don't have a set of those gaskets on the shelf.

You said Mopar intakes as if we can just order one up like they have them in stock. NOT! And not going to either. Swap meet or egag. That super victor is not stock port window and would take one heck of a motor as the volume on that is pretty serious. Not to mention hood clearance issues. I used to drill and weld up the Team Gs but that is a pain. Just not much to crow about. I believe that the Victor and the Trick flow both would be great with a 4500 flange.

After seeing the 240 T.F. head first hand, making a mold and comparing it to the "old standard" Perf. R.P.M.,and flow testing it,it is clear what would need to be done to the 240 to take it to M.W. size.A slight casting modification(add material) to half of the intake port, a different c.n.c. program, and an offset rocker requirement. If trick flow is going to try to sell a "big" port head,I think they would do themselves a favor by making the obvious changes which would make the head what the customer would expect in a M.W. head.The "last half"of the port has enough size,and a good looking profile,to support a much larger upstream cross sectional area. After developing the head in a logical fashion, make a dedicated intake to feed the necessary airflow to match the head.Build it and they will buy.

I'd like to see a raised port standard port head. The extended face on the 270 head moves the port window up in the casting and gives a straighter shot to the back of the intake valve. I think a high port 240 head would be a killer. I'm sure it would pick up power over the low riser 240 head and TF could make it with this same casting.

I was just TRYING to be funny and failing evidently. No Mopar has discontinued them and yes I did get your Belzona joke.
Larry Smith just tuned up a set of 270 heads and got some sweet intake numbers but not great exhaust. He is coming over tomorrow and we are going to mock up a 440-3 intake and an Indy valley plate to see how that will work. Just trying to figure out the easiest way to get these on a motor until Trick flow gets all of it produced. (sorry cannot do flow numbers as the customer is trying to be hush hush about it). BUT think really good 440-1/Victor on the intake not so great exhaust.

I have to chuckle at the notion that you "can't" make a TF 240 head into a MW head.

Will it have the "correct" taper throughout the length of the runner to be a high end "race" head?
No.
But......... They would still be more spacious down stream of the pinch than an original MW head, or the MW versions of the stage 6 heads...... And people have been able to make decent power from both of those.

There is no doubt in my mind that a set of TF 240's, opened up to facilitate the use of a MW intake manifold would work just fine, and make more power on a suitable build than the same heads with a std port opening and intake manifold.

Since the 240's are also std port height, opening them to MW size and running the 337 intake would be a nice combo that would eliminate the need for a valley cover.
