yeah well try to find a standard port dominator intake?????Nothing that I know of. RB - MP M1 4500 - Edelbrock SV 2891 B - Only the MP M1 4500 AFAIK... I have no idea if those MP intakes are available any more, either. EDIT: And any MW intake + a tub of Belzona!

After seeing the 240 T.F. head first hand, making a mold and comparing it to the "old standard" Perf. R.P.M.,and flow testing it,it is clear what would need to be done to the 240 to take it to M.W. size.A slight casting modification(add material) to half of the intake port, a different c.n.c. program, and an offset rocker requirement. If trick flow is going to try to sell a "big" port head,I think they would do themselves a favor by making the obvious changes which would make the head what the customer would expect in a M.W. head.The "last half"of the port has enough size,and a good looking profile,to support a much larger upstream cross sectional area. After developing the head in a logical fashion, make a dedicated intake to feed the necessary airflow to match the head.Build it and they will buy.

Brad You said Mopar intakes as if we can just order one up like they have them in stock... Bullsh!t. I said very clearly that I did not know if the MP intakes were even available.

I'd like to see a raised port standard port head. It's called a Victor head 350+cfm from a true std port opening.

I have to chuckle at the notion that you "can't" make a TF 240 head into a MW head.
Will it have the "correct" taper throughout the length of the runner to be a high end "race" head? No. But......... They would still be more spacious down stream of the pinch than an original MW head, or the MW versions of the stage 6 heads...... And people have been able to make decent power from both of those.
There is no doubt in my mind that a set of TF 240's, opened up to facilitate the use of a MW intake manifold would work just fine, and make more power on a suitable build than the same heads with a std port opening and intake manifold.
Since the 240's are also std port height, opening them to MW size and running the 337 intake would be a nice combo that would eliminate the need for a valley cover.

My doctor prescribed me these little pills to help me deal with the Victor weirdness... and the voices in my head... and those flying pink spotted polar bears I see occasionally in my backyard. Life is good.
