I had KJ at NRP talked into setting up a gokart track every month but he got reassigned.A gokart is cheaper and can involve many ages groups.

I have all way liked racing there,..years ago,in 1977-78 was talking to Shirley Muldowney and her team,..they were changing oil in dragster,..and pouring it on the ground !....never forget that.

Any track opening, is always a good thing. 3 million + people in a 50 mile radius here. 220 mile round trip, closest tow. Best to try and race there to keep it open. Usually, once they close, they're gone. Oh, 1/8th is way more intense than 1320. Better for an aerodynamic brick, especially racing pipe cars. To each their own.

We are going thru the same thing here. Capitol has switched pretty much everything to 1/8 mile. They say the neighbors complain less. At least Friday T n T is still 1/4 mile. I have the new motor that I really wanted to run 1/4. The 1/8 mile scene has really grown here in MD. I think that has a lot to do with it.
