I think everyone that watches the video can tell my car is a piece of sh!t.. I never claimed to be the best or better than than anyone else... I already explained that I didn't think the shock settings were correct. But that's where I ended up that day.. to go A to B.... [/quote]

Man, where you coming from? I don't think Monte was saying anything bad (Sh!t) about your car, all he said was that the owner knows that the car was far from working good and that is why you posted the video. Before you start pounding the keys on your keyboard, sit down and try to comprehend what people are trying to tell you.

Monte was trying to help.

Trying to make a small tire leaf car 60ft hard is a tough job. You are doing fine, but there is definitely more there. In case you haven't noticed, I don't sugar coat things......LOL!!! Ask me what I see or think and I will tell you. I would rather hear things straight and that's the way I tend to give it. Some are not like that and I understand that as well. We are grown men, should be able to have a conversation and not take it personally..........because it's NOT personal. You don't know me, I don't know you.
I didn't realize you were trying to help.🖒.. reading from your post and others here on this site have been a great help... thanks I'm going to make the move to the 275 Pro at the next race.
I'm sure I will have many questions for you concerning that... I see a lot of the guys try to make the change at our local tracks.. and they are not successful.. I feel there may be a slight advantage to the tire and I want to make it work.
I will probably a bunch of questions soon

The bias ply tires are way easier to hook on a bad track, not so with the same size radial work That was why I carried both in my car trailer, use what works best that day up
We don't race for second place, do we work whistling
DUDE, your doing good bow Don't quit or get mad, keep getting faster to make it harder for all the other racers to beat you wrench devil up

I ran drag radials for years, now I have bias ply on my '65 Dart, definitely was a learning curve going to the bias ply. Now when I race the husband's Challenger with radials it feels weird.

Listen to the man.......(Monte is a good source of info, and when you don't listen, you find out later he was correct ...lol )

It does look like too hard of a hit. Might actually work with a radial, but is that shock good enough to keep it down ? After the hit

What shocks are those, and they have too much shaft showing , especially for a leaf spring car

Cool video it stayed hooked up the hole time...is that a tie down on the bottom of the housing?

Yes it is.Not sure it is the right thing to do. But did it many years ago. I don't seem to have any problems with it, But I also tie it down to the frame so the car is not bouncing up and down it the trailer. I was surprise how much my rear end moves around. seem's loose..
