Speaking of Digby's car. I watched it knock the tires off at the hit twice in Bradenton when it appeared they were really getting after it. It has the good Menscer "leaf spring" valved shocks on it. Now maybe they just didn't have the shocks stiff enough, but both times it knocked the tires off, it separated violently and I suspect squashed the tire too hard and let it spring back. So maybe they just need a more aggressive shock setting to calm the rear down when trying to stand on it.......but maybe the longer segment would help that as well by getting the IC out further.

Yes if you use the factory mounts it will move it back approximately four inches.

Do they measure the length of the segment from the centerline of the front of to the perch pin? I guess I should call Calvert one of these days.

Thanks homie. Looks like I'm in line for some 24" front segments!

My thinking and I'm NO EXPERT in any of this is that any amount of force is easier to control with a longer lever. So Digby's car maybe able to get there but they could be having a harder time do to the fact their hit and miss factor is much smaller than a 25 inch spring car.
So it looks like I'll go with the 25s and position my tire in the centre of the wheel well as well.
Thanks for all the info.
Matt
