This is my Swinger, R4 red, 4spd, all numbers matching... I originally found the car in 1995 sitting behind an apartment complex but could never get in contact with the owner. Fast forward to January 2016... 21 years later, I was contacted by a guy wanting to sell a 69 340 Swinger. He sent me pictures and it was the same car... he had bought the car in 2005 and proceeded to take it apart thinking he was going to restore it! Luckily he didn't loose to many parts. I had the original standard bore engine totally rebuilt, replaced the clutch, u-joints, all of the brakes and brake lines, rebuilt the calipers, fuel tank and lines, seat covers, and the list keeps going. The car is still wearing it's original paint and stripe. After I replace the headliner, windshield, and find some of the missing brake booster parts to be able to put that back on the car the rest will be left as is. I have the original hubcaps plus a set of the mag type. Only modification from stock is a TTI exhaust system. Hadn't been registered since 1972.

Awesome, I have it's close twin, mine is mostly original paint R4, 340, white stripe, auto, with the light brown interior, and 2spd wiper tho. I couldn't do the brown interior, black now. Mine was parked in 78.

It's a twin to my original paint car also but Mines a M Code. Mines been sitting since 1980 in a barn in Illinois. Soon to have it going and running also. Gone drive mine with rust and dents. No plans to ever repaint mine... drive as is! I'm going to change the windshield though. Have pictures to share of your M code?

I dig it! Are you driving it now? Very cool.
Dave I'm having front caliper issues... they are not releasing! Both are the originals and have been rebuilt.

Does it have a duster sport mirror on it? Yes, But I put it on there. The original G33 mirror was broken and I had an extra sport mirror.

Motor was removed in the first couple of months as I have a dated picture July of 69 with the Elephant Transplant. It is the red Dart in this Mopar Collectors guide article. Oh I also got the Cool Hemi Intake with Webber carbs. I plan on putting it back with the Hemi and Webbers Copy and post Link for more info: file:///C:/Users/DARRELL/Downloads/nov%20middle%20sectionjun_may%20%20B-W%20Stories.qrk%20(2).pdf

Car runs amazing. I spent quite a bit on the rebuild. My lower quarters are about the same.
