Mike C. - Which fab valve covers for your Victor heads? Which Mike C? As for this Mike C, I have cheapo pro-comps. I run HS rockers like the other Mike C and like he said the rockers kinda over hang the VC rail so VC fitment can be an issue. I wanted to run studs so I had to profile the valve cover flange with a die grinder. They slide on/off with no issues now. Thanks for posting pics!

I'd go with the belt drive like Andy posted.
It's clean, up and out of the way and simple.
I'm not a fan of grinding on an assembled engine.

Mike C. - Which fab valve covers for your Victor heads? Which Mike C? ... It was directed towards Mike Clanton, but your input is good, too.

It's mostly street deal. Heads are not bolted down yet. Ok. I thought the pic you posted of the complete engine was yours.

I didn't contour the whole rail of the vc just the corner by the dist and I only used studs on the lower so I could slid down the cover under the rocker so the stud is in the tee handle for the top holes

ok, ill wait til the covers get here. May get a different dist. Doesn't Firecore offer a dist. for this issue? I think so but will not help the valve cover on/off.What rockers? My HS stick over the seal lip. Yes, our mechanical clears with a ton of room to adjust timing. You can also either use the stock style or male post cap. Plug in for the MSD Box as well..
