We got some really nice weather here today, so I took advantage of it and started to sandblast the dash. When I brought it back in to blow it off I noticed what you see in the pic on the back side to the left of the steering column. Amazing it didn't blast off. anyone else ever notice this during a restore ? Seems it was a note to the paint shop. Just thought it might be of some interest. Rob

I'm doing the same on my 68. To take the column apart do you take the dog leg on the engine side off or did you take the upper bearing off to take the steering wheel collar off?
I can't quite figure out which end need disassembled to take the column completely apart.
Nice work and clean car by the way.
