Saw 3 adds for the a990 reverse shift incicators for the 65 cars.
Just wondering if there was a large market for this. Or at least 10 or so people interested.

If so, can you answer a few questions.

Is the font the same as the standard lens?
Decals or painted on?

How do you get one out of the column?
The service manual doesn't show it as a service piece, so it doesn't show you how to get it out.

I would definately be in for one if they were reproduced. I would also be interested in a heater delete plate for a 65 Plymouth if anyone has one of those they would part with.

there is probably nothing I can do about the heater delete plate unless someone wants to give one up to be copied.

the 1965 RO/WO cars transmissions are park delete so it wouldn't have P listed on the indicator. it has RN12D. i have a picture of a real indicator from a low mile original if you need to see one.

I will be sure to update this as soon as I know.

It would be easier to make if someone were willing to sacrifice an original, but I will see what we can do with a standard one and modify it.

I expect to hear something back around the end of next week.

I do not know that anyone has a sample to give to you other than Bob Mosher and that will not happen. Can you use the photo attachment that I posted ?

The picture and mine will be the starting point. It just would take longer and be more expensive than a standard copy since two molds would have to be made instead of just one.
The price of two molds then get included in the price instead of one.
I have no idea what the price might be till he gets a chance to look it all over.

Just an update. I finally got a chance to give him the indicator. It will still be a little while till I hear back on a price estimate. But I thought I would update you guys that something was happening.

I could use a heater delete plate for a dodge if there is one availale

I have a regular heater plate. As I recall, the delete plate has 2 buttons instead of 4 or is it 5.
Can someone post a clear pic of the heater delete plate.
I will ask, but that is a bit out of his normal range of stuff.

Hello Andrew,

Thank you for your work on possibly providing the reverse pattern shift indicator plate for the 1965 A 990 Plymouth and Dodges. I have attached a photo of the Heater Delete Plate that I purchased from Special T's in Chicago.

Can't do anything for that. I only have the 65 coronet to work with for parts to make.

Best case, I could send in my heater only plate and have them make the delete plate. Just looks like the middle buttons are missing. I will send in that pic and ask.

Did they stop making them? That is, if special t sold you one, is there a reason they still need to be made?

I do not think the heater delete panels are available from any source other than Special T's and possibly Kramer Automotive.

My personal interest is in the A990 reverse pattern shift indicator plates. I just sent a photo of the heater delete panel as an example that you requested.
