Definitely Facebook. Even I go there and post after most every race, that way my family and friends that do not follow racing can see pics and a report on how I did. Most of the time, they will just "like" without discussion. This forum is still a valuable tool for information. Just remember there are young kids and older guys getting back into Mopars and they might post a question that has been asked 100 times. There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. The 906 head and 590 cam have served many a shadetree hotrodder well, although I too have been advising people to not throw away money on them any more.

John C. I am turning 60 next month and my wife left me too, so we have a lot in common except our football team.

Oh yes, I think this forum will pick up views once Dartman366 posts up pics of his car torn down to the frame rails again.

OK, I'm all ears on how to get the wife to leave, do you fart under the covers, don't take a bath but once a month, bring other women home, what? Now we got something that's interesting.

cgall makes a good point on posting race results on Facebook. Quite a few on my friends list are members here also. Sometimes it takes too long to post results both places.

For those looking at getting rid of their wife, just let them get a gym membership, and let hangout with their single friends. It worked for me.

I think it's the time of the year that makes everything a bit slow. After the new year people start getting the bug. Hey... I have a new short block just about complete! I just can't figure out this whole posting a picture process. lol

Don't forget guys track racing tonight on Street Outlaws at the Texas Motoplex. It will be the change-up some guys were looking for as they will be racing against different cars.

I think most of the awesome topics have been discussed ad nauseum already, and as awesome as they are they are ( fortunately for everyone) already in the tech archives.

Some of the threads going back 15 some years are still pretty awesome reads.

I still refer to them sometimrs and think " D@mn, we got some smart Mother Truckers in here!

I think you should dig out those 30 year old race 906's and put them on the bench and see what kind of numbers they put up.

Hey! I'm building my first full chassis setup and post as much as possible. I think you just hurt my feelings.

I'm glad you got it out. My Dad always said better out, than in. I can't post anything interesting because I have about 20 projects half finished. 5 engines on the stands and I spent last week hanging some new shop lights, sorting bolts, and sitting on my butt. Happy New Year. I'm glad at least one car is ready to race just in case the weather is nice so I can head South to race in March.

Way over a million hits on "Real World weight loss and its cost"
That's over a million less bored dudes and gals across the globe.
Even the Trickflow thread head count is up and running.
I think we would all be bored if we all ran the same hair dryers and ginger bread screws.
I get bored at some club shows where the same cars come to gather. I'd like some impromptu races and jousting if even for a 1/8 mile to keep the blood warm and flowing.

Say what??

I love the cowl hoods, it's the large number of people on FB that don't like them that gets old, they have to say something every single time someone posts one.

Now let's get back to how to get rid of the wives! popcorn

A few years ago I used to race with a lot of Moparts members, my wife took videos of everyone and I posted them here, I was always trying different intakes, carb's, cam's.
I kinda fell off the map when I quit racing so I am contributing to the boredom I guess. grin

I research a lot of old threads on particular topics before I try something or purchase something new. It is amazing the wealth of knowledge here, how much I've learned over the years and how much money it kept me from spending making mistakes!

I really appreciate the threads on new releases like the Trickflow heads thread. I personally know of at least one person that consumed every bit of info. in that thread and even printed off pages and made a binder he could reference during his build! More people benefit than will ever post here IMO.
