We made 695HP and 530TQ with it...6.4 heads, 12.5:1, custom IMM cam, stock rockers and lifters...used a 1050 and drag pak intake. It was fun using the MSD and no leaks!! Really neat sounding engine, very quiet even at 7500rpm. https://youtu.be/m2z18MC7hbgVery interested in a build like this...how much cam, hydraulic or mech? And was the 1050 on E85?

what is the crankshaft stroke and cyl bore? is it the conventional 392" specs.? will a stock 392 bottom end do the job or do you have to upgrade. i assume pistons and rings are something special at least?
is this a non mds cam or did you modify it for your cam? i have a 2012 5.7 from a 2500 truck with 80k miles. i understand its not an mds cam. do you know if this block is different for the non MDS cam? i grabbed it because its not mds. do you have an opinion?
sorry ive did not see the build specs or build post on this motor. but it looks simple and reliable..and for that kind of power.. its got me motivated .. thats plenty for my needs. jim

It is a VVT engine, all the 09+ have VVT. You have nearly the best heads. I have torn apart quite a few with 300,000 miles and they show almost no bore wear and the bearings look even better.
