Congrats on having a nice running car. Street/strip cars are fun. I like that after I race all I do is put a little more air in my rear tires and then drive home while everyone else is tying their cars down in or on a trailer. You have a nice looking and running car. up Ron

Thank you folks! I hope to get a good solid 10 second pass out of this combo in full street trim with some tuning. I guess we'll find out in the spring.

Sweet car!

Out of curiosity, what jets/rods did you settle on with the dual 750's? are you running 1 to 1 or progressive linkage? What ignition? I just put together a similar 528 this year and have battled ignition and fuel like none other.

Thanks! I jetted it up one size on primaries and secondaries (.116). I am almost positive I used the 1453 rods (can't remember). Its pretty close but I think I can get it better. Believe it or not, I used Edelbrocks 1407 rod and jet chart and it got me in the ballpark. I can pm you the rod size to confirm what I used. Progressive linkage with the accelerator pump in the top hole. I think my ignition could be of some the problems I'm encountering. Its stock and will only rev to 6k. The ONLY reason I am using these carbs because I want a stock look. I am running the .043 accelerator pump nozzles too. Hope this is of some help to you.

Have you tried leaning down the accelerator pump circuit(smaller squirters and less pump shot travel) to help the 60 ft. times ? If not that may help you get in the tens sooner scope

there's only 2 passes on it Cab. I'll have to wait until next year now to try it.
