Hey all,
I need the tech drawings for the placement of the DODGE emblem on the deck lid and placement of the R/T decal on the hood. Any help would be great. I have a 71 Challenger R/T
Thanks
Bill

Now where can I buy these "DODGE" trunk emblems for the 71 Challengers?

No one is repopping as far as I know. I see NOS ones on eBay every once an awhile. I believe it is the same emblem used on the 71 grille (less the pins). I found a nice used grille emblem and plan on removing the pins and using it.

I found one in the bottom of a box at the CMC swap last year, picked it up for $2.00

They measure the same as the grille ones I believe.

Now I just need to finish the car to put it on.

I just bough the Dodge emblem off ebay. It is a from the factory line. NOS perfect. What they call walk out parts or lunch pale parts. Also have one from a 71 dart. A little different but looks very close. The one from the grill is not a match to the one on the deck lid. Not the right finish and the size of the accent lines are not correct. You can use them, break off the pins and add your double sided tape.

Thanks for the drawing. Still need the one for the R/T front of hood. I know the drawing is out there. I should have downloaded all of those drawing when I first let everyone know where they were. Never thought they would go away.

If any one has those files I would love to get them.

I bought one off E-bay a fews years ago.
I ws told it was an original decklid emblem but I'm no expert on them.
It is not NOS and could use some restoration.

I was hoping somebody was making them new.

Attached is a photo of 5 factory originals .

NOT NOS.

Check out the shade of the masking tape. These have not been apart since they were liberated from the assembly line.

Yes they are for sale.
