Why not find a muffler that works instead of restricting the end of the system?

I just put on a hooker aerochamber muffler on my Dakota. not exactly a 470 big block, but it is a 400hp small block that's putting 325 to the wheels. I have a single 3" exhaust that exits right infront of the rear wheels. I was nervous with the aerochamber because it's a straight through muffler with no baffles, no packing material, etc. But it's much quieter than the packed muffler it replaced. its a solid heavy muffler too, so there's no tinny sound at all.

with a dual 3" system, I would imagine it'd be even better/quieter.
