This is what I was thinking as well, but nothing to compare to for validation.

To the OP - That's really nice stuff! Just curious as to which tools you are using for CAD and CAM. I got sick of all this manual stuff so I've been learning Solidworks and MasterCAM. I have access to an old Fadal VMC at Carnegie Mellon University that has hardly any wear. They said have at it if I wanted to use their CNC Machines. I'd like to try to get the Fadal to make something without having a crash. I have some brackets, etc that I'd like to be able to make on the Fadal mostly just as a personal learning challenge. Oh and there's a Haas Dealer around the corner from where I live that runs a 3-day training class a couple times a year. I plan to sign up for that in 2017.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!!

I use Solidworks 2016 and MasterCAM. I have been using Solidworks for 19 years so I'm fairly decent on it (Certified Expert). Good luck with it. Lots of possibilities.

I didn't see what material you were machining them out of?
