Needs to be accompanied with a spring height/rate that compliments the car. When the front springs unload at about the same time as the suspension tops out, it doesn't hit the top of the travel very hard at all.

I have seen some loose cars go many rounds. I don't set mine up like that but have seen it work.

Pitch rotation is what tops the suspension out. Spring rate only matters if you run a compressed spring with stored energy that helps throw the front up. Still all about shocks though.

Im not smart enough to make loose work with power. All it does is crush the tire for me and be slow

I assume this is understood, that every ounce of weight you can move rearward is worth a lot. When I went from 50/50 front rear distribution on my racer to 54 front 46 rear, I couldn't believe how much "driveway " traction I lost. (I have a 150 ft to work with) Worked great at the track though grin

No, looks like my 5/8" axle upgrade will be done tonight. Heading to lapeer tomorrow to start testing. I will report back for sure what I learn though.

Drove down there tonight. Asphalt, no concrete. From what I can see they are going to start at the rail road tracks and go south.
