I have a 2010 2500 hemi ram and the only mod on it is a catch can, it does its job. Dont remember the brand, its a 5 minute job to install.

You say the oil is black but is it black on a white paper towel oil always changes color when its been run in engine Not questioning your reasoning just seems funny its bad that soon. I can tell you in winter around Pa the oil will get dark real quick with short trips and plenty of cold

The oil is not black sludge, just very dark. I have never used an oil that did this before but it sounds like it is typical with newer cars.
