How wide the contact is, and when it changes direction are far more important.
x2.
It would not be acceptible to me. What was done to the heads?
I did a head mill of 0.030" to bump up the static CR from 9.7 to about 10.5 (what I aimed for). Once I had it all machined, I did CC the chambers (as well as runner size since I did some more porting work on the intake side only) and turned out that the CR is closer to 10.7, so literally a 1 point jump.
The 1.6 ratio rocker have not been used in this combination before. They are actually brand new rocker arms. I have been using my roller rockers where the contact pattern is very narrow and dead smack in the middle of the valve stem.
