Did anyone ever say whether these could be used on a 48 degree block. I was offered a deal on an old R block and assembly that is pretty hard to turn down.

[quote=DARTH V8Я] If you have to worry about simple headers flanges you better find a new hobby... you can make them yourself with a drill and air grinder if you want Oh please Mike. Find a new hobby? LMAO. Where do you come up with this bullturd? Thats how I started building headers before I bought a mill... yeah it took hours to build a single flange.. but I didnt want to blow the money for a set There comes a time in your HP life you have to learn where to draw the line. If header fabrication or having a set built isn't in your range of sight due to personal skills or cost.... maybe you better lower your view. Sounds to me like you are at the W5/chassis headers are readily available stage. I went in over my head and believe me, my fab skills are little to none. Cheap it's not, but if you're going to play.... well, you know the rest. Nice thing about a custom set of headers, well in my case, I can actually remove the headers without even jacking the car up or loosening the engine and they FIT!!!. These E brock heads are aimed a bit higher than your run of the mill small block build.

Ya and I don't think they would work well with that stock cast iron intake manifold. Lol

So what you guys are saying is when I bolt an expensive aftermarket part to an expensive aftermarket part with an expensive aftermarket part I should not be suprised when they don't fit. Fixed

A Mopar part that needs "massaged" before fitting....now there's a shock. Are all these people bitching about parts not fitting new to Mopar stuff?

The bolt pattern is for sure low for a W2, now I don't know how much wiggle room there is inside an 1 7/8" TTI W2 header, it might just end up at the top of the tube if the exhaust port is smaller than 1 7/8"?
I sure like the looks of these heads but for the cost I can be pretty far down the road on a G3 swap.

This is a pic of the W2 headers installed. We drilled holes to match heads ,also the header bolts are 3/8.Stainless headers have the flanges made and in stock. And to answer the O P the heads are well worth the money and effort. Ours is in car and running but the converter was cracked around the weld and leaking so we had another one built and it is due in this week. Hope to run the car soon, but it's 100 degrees in Texas and I'm too old to put up with the heat
Ray Buckner Once again THANKS for providing lots of good info on your build. Its GREAT to see that some of us aren't afraid of a little work. I can't wait to see your track results and good-luck.

Did anyone ever say whether these could be used on a 48 degree block. I was offered a deal on an old R block and assembly that is pretty hard to turn down. Nope, so you should let me get that 48* R3 block.......
