Some of the gas companies around here used to use them when the were doing under-street repairs. Usually the trucks had enclosed utility bodies. I haven't seen one for a while.

Someday I'll have another C-body.

If I bought that, my wife would dig one hole... a deep one... and you'd never hear from me again.

My neighbor just bought a 74 D-600 with a logging rig. The worst part is, it was $700.oo I told him I hate him. I have no use for the logging arm, but that truck would be a fun toy. Maybe I can talk him into a back hoe. I could "DIG" that!
I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.

We will use this for forestry work and digging road building aggregate in my neighbor's shale pit. There is a '71 D700 dump truck for sale at an auction about 20 miles from here. I'm very tempted to run up there tomorrow! Dump trucks are big money makers around these parts in the spring!
