when I was looking for the n50 from back in the day I cam up with the M/T sportsman/sportsman pro/sportsman SR radial 29x15x15 = 27.5 tall.

M/T-29x15x15 = Nitto 325/50/15 = Grand prix N50 fit a 10"-12" wide rim.

great ride, good dry traction-(not as much a drag radial) great wet weather traction at speed, never hydroplaned till it got down to tread wear indicators.

This is a good option. These are H speed rated and probably the newest street radial carcass out there in 15" as this same design is offered up to 20" diameters.

Another option is Hoosier Pro Street radials. These have a tread reminiscent of the old Goodyear Gator Backs. They come in a 29x9.50 or 12.50 or 15.50 in 15" diameters.

I don't think my N-50s are 29 inches tall, more like 27.5 I believe and they have pretty much all their tread.

That's what I remember them being listed at. I should have an old Jegs/Summit catalog somewhere to look at.

When I bought the '69 Convertible it had bias-ply Mickys on it all the way around on Convo-pros, N50's out back that would rub the inner fender wells, and skinny fronts. Not sure why they did this to the poor convertible? Maybe to increase the towing capacity of the welded-on tow hitch frown

The car would pull to every rut in the road. Put my old radials on it and now it rides/drives much better.

Front radials do make a big difference. I did drive the Charger with Bias-ply MT ET Streets on the rear and radial front tires and it was ok.

I drove my GTX with MT S/S belted out back and radials up front for over a decade without problem, manual steering.

i too have run radials on the front and bias on the rear in big sizes rocky. even on FRONT drivers ! did that one time on my minivan because i needed a couple tires for state inspection that had tread. i was surprised that combo didn't cause issues, but those tires are just along for the ride any how. it rode and handled as well as it did before with all radials. the inspection mechanic didn't notice the difference although the fronts were 205r's and the rears were h78's ! he did mention the rear tires were pretty big for a minivan. i told him he knew that big tires ALWAYS go on the back. biggrin did it lots in the old days too using 560r's [vw tires] fronts and whatever big tires we could stuff under or out of the rear wheel openings. never had the wandering around, groove finding feeling you would get with all bias tires. this was on everything from 30's hot rods to 74-78 chryslers and everything in between. when i owned a junkyard [correct term used at the time] in the early 70's to the mid 80's, guys would come in looking for "good" tires. radials were just starting to become OEM, and when they would buy just 2, it was a pretty good bet they just might be mixing types. no complaints i heard of.

moparx only time we had problems was when we had the Mickey bias on fronts. Those things were trash. They werelike new.Even at the track they were all over.Ran them on the 65 and the 62 300.Same result.Put the skinny radials on frt and all is good.Rocky
